Characteristic Analysis of Four-split Transformer Used as Double-circuit Filter Inductor in Double-current System
The transformer of a locomotive is used as the reactor when it is powered by DC power, which is running in a dual-current system. At this time, the two low-voltage windings on the same iron core column of the transformer are connected in series to the loop for filtering, and the four high-voltage windings are open in parallel. There are four kinds of connections for four low-voltage windings with two in series;moreover the same connection also has bilateral work and unilateral work. Thus, the equivalent inductance of the transformer is worth further study. In this paper, the inductance matrix of eight windings of a four-split transformer obtained by analyzing of magnetic field is used to write the circuit equations of four different connections, and they are equivalent to a two-port network. Finally the equivalent impedance and inductance are calculated, and the results are discussed in detail and some proposal is presented.
