Design and Optimization of High Torque Permanent Magnet Synchronous Linear Motor
This article mainly discusses the design,drag reduction optimization,electromagnetic characteris-tics,air gap flux density and prototype manufacturing process of permanent magnet synchronous linear motor(PMLSM).Research contents include determining the main dimensions and key electromagnetic parameters of the motor.Maxwell software is used to construct a finite element model to analyze the effects of structure and parameters on electromagnetic thrust.Primary core length is optimized to reduce end forces.The proto-type's resistance and inductance parameters,thrust,back electromotive force and repeat positioning accuracy are tested through simulation and experiments.The results show that the prototype exhibits good thrust output performance.
