Comparative Analysis of the Curative Effects of Robot-assisted Laparoscopy and Traditional Laparoscopy in the Treatment of Adrenal Tumors
Objective To evaluate the advantages and disadvantages of robot-assisted laparoscopic surgery and tra-ditional laparoscopic surgery in the treatment of adrenal tumors. Methods The clinical data of 49 patients who underwent adrenalectomy by the same surgeon from August 2020 to August 2021 in the urology department of author's hospital were retrospectively analyzed, including 27 patients in the robot group and 22 patients in the traditional laparoscopic group.In-traoperative blood loss, operative time, postoperative drainage time, postoperative hospitalization of the patients in two groups were compared. Results All operations were successful in the robot group and the traditional laparoscopic group without conversion to open surgery and postoperative complications. There was no significant difference in the operation time between the two groups(P>0.05).Compared with the traditional laparoscopic group, the robot group had less in-traoperative blood loss, shorter postoperative drainage time and shorter postoperative hospitalization, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion Compared with traditional laparoscopic surgery,robot-assisted laparoscopic surgery has no significant difference in operation time for surgical removal of adrenal tumors, but it has cer-tain advantages in controlling intraoperative bleeding and postoperative recovery.
