Methods and Experience of Animal Laparoscopic Surgery Under Field Conditions
Objective To summarize the methods of animal laparoscopic surgery under field conditions, and to make an exploration for the use of laparoscope in treating closed abdominal trauma under field conditions. Methods Dur-ing the external training of the medical team,3 goats were selected(A.B,C),and each goat was operated twice, with 2-days interval between the two operations.General anesthesia without intubation was performed with commonly used clini-cal anesthetics, after successful anesthesia, the abdominal cavity was first explored, and an artificial model of intestinal rupture was established to suture the ruptured intestinal wall. The blood oxygen saturation, heart rate, number of body movements and bleeding volume during the operation were recorded, and the abdominal exploration time and operation time(from the beginning of skin cutting to the end of skin suture)were recorded. Results The vital signs of the 3 goats were stable during the operation, the anesthesia and operation process were smooth, the goats woke up quickly after the operation, and they could walk on their feet after lifting off the operating table, and they survived normally. Conclusion Laparoscopic surgery of animals is carried out under the condition of general anesthesia without intubation, which is convenient for anesthesia management and can realize the whole process of surgical training, indicating that it is feasible to use laparoscopy to treat abdominal war trauma under field conditions.
