Expression and Clinical Significance of Cuproptososis-related Gene DLAT in Pancreatic Cancer
Objective To investigate the role of cuproptososis-related genes in pancreatic cancer, construct a prog-nostic model, screen and verify the important role of cuproptososis-related genes in pancreatic cancer. Methods The ex-pression levels of cuproptososis-related genes in pancreatic cancer were analyzed by biological database, and the prognostic analysis was performed to construct a prognostic model. Results Cuproptososis-related genes represented by dihydroli-poamide S-acetyltransferase(DLAT)were highly expressed in pancreatic cancer(all P<0.05).Based on the prognostic model of cuproptososis-related genes, the prognosis of pancreatic cancer patients with high risk score was worse than those of patients with low risk score(P<0.05).The immunohistochemistry method of public database and clinical data verified that the high expression of DLAT in pancreatic cancer was not conducive to the prognosis of patients with pancre-atic cancer, and its expression level could be used as an independent risk factor for the progression of pancreatic cancer pa-tients(all P<0.05).Conclusion Cuproptososis-related genes can be used as potential prognostic factors for patients with pancreatic cancer. The cuproptososis-related genes represented by DLAT may provide a new way for the treatment of pancreatic cancer.
