Expression Levels and Clinical Prognostic Significance of FZD3 and DVL2 in Cancer Tissues of Patients with Non-small Cell Lung Cancer
Objective To explore the expression levels and clinical prognostic significance of frizzled 3(FZD3)and dishevelled 2(DVL2)in cancer tissues of patients with non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC).Methods A total of 105 pa-tients with NSCLC admitted to author's hospital from September 2018 to September 2020 were selected, cancer tissues and adjacent tissues were collected and made into specimens. The expression levels of FZD3 and DVL2 in the cancer tis-sues and adjacent tissues specimens were detected by immunohistochemistry;the relationship between the expression lev-els of FZD3,DVL2 and the clinical characteristics of NSCLC patients was analyzed, and the related factors affecting the prognosis of NSCLC patients were analyzed. Results The positive expression rates of FZD3 and DVL2 in the cancer tis-sues were higher than those in the adiacent tissues(all P<0.05).The positive expression rates of FZD3 and DVL2 in NSCLC patients with clinical stage Ⅲ,poor differentiation and lymph node metastasis were higher than those in NSCLC patients with clinical stage Ⅱ,medium/high differentiation and no lymph node metastasis(all P<0.05).The 3-year overall survival of NSCLC patients with FZD3 positive expression and DVL2 positive expression was lower than that of cases with FZD3 negative expression and DVL2 negative expression(all P<0.05).Multivariate Cox regression analysis showed that poor differentiation(HR=2.524,95%CI:1.669-3.817),lymph node metastasis(HR=2.959,95%CI:1.897-4.618),FZD3 positive expression(HR=3.111,95%CI:1.982-4.883)and DVL2 positive expression(HR=3.476,95%CI:2.155-5.608)were independent risk factors for the prognosis of NSCLC patients(P<0.05).Conclu-sion The expressions of FZD3 and DVL are up-regulated in NSCLC tissues and are related to clinical stage,differentia-tion degree and lymph node metastasis, which are expected to be used as biological markers for prognosis evaluation of NSCLC.
