Emotional Experience of Military Nurses Performing Military Confrontation Tasks at the Plateau:A Qualitative Study
Objective To explore the emotional experience of military nurses performing military confrontation tasks at the plateau,so as to provide reference for nurses and managers who perform military support tasks at the plateau in the future.Methods Phenomenological research method was used to conduct semi-structured interviews with 12 mili-tary nurses who participated in the plateau military confrontation task before selection,during and after the military con-frontation tasks.Colaizzi analysis method was used to sort out and analyze the extracted information and refine the theme.Results During the military confrontation tasks at the plateau,psychological themes at all stages were obtained according to the study of 3 task stages.Before the task selection,there were expectation and tension,sense of honor and mission,sense of strangeness and anxiety;during the task,there were missing family,sense of belonging,professional identity and achievement,heavy psychological burden,poor sleep quality;after the task,there were unforgettable,rewarding and positive outlook on life and values.Conclusion Military nurses have different emotional experiences before and after car-rying out military confrontation tasks at the plateau.Measures such as psychological counseling and intervention,impro-ving military comprehensive quality,improving incentive policy mechanism and strengthening the construction of nursing talent team should be put forward according to different stages,the medical support ability of military nurses at the plat-eau should be comprehensively improved,so as to lay a foundation for the successful completion of military confrontation tasks at the plateau.
