Effects of Endurance Training of Core Muscle Groups on Improving Sub-health of Lumbar Spine in Pilots
Objective To explore the effecs of endurance training of core muscle groups on improving the sub-health of lumbar spine in pilots. Methods A total of 108 pilots with sub-health of lumbar spine in author's unit to recu-perate were selected from March 2021 to December 2021,the pilots were randomly divided into intervention group(n=56)and control group(n=52).The pilots in control group were given routine physical training, and the pilots in inter-vention group were given special endurance training of core muscle groups on the basis of routine training in the control group.Improved Oswestry disability index(IODI)questionnaire, visual analogue scale(VAS),the core muscle strength and stability test were used to assess pilots at admission and 25 days after admission, and the results were compared. Results There were no significant differences in age, height, body mass index and flight total duration of pilots between two groups(P>0.05).There were no significant differences in VAS,IODI scores, core muscle strength and stability between the two groups at admission(P>0.05).After 25 days of intervention, there were no significant differences in VAS,IODI scores, core muscle strength and stability in control group than those at admission(P>0.05).After 25 days of intervention, the VAS and IODI scores of the pilots in intervention group significantly decreased than those at admis-sion,and the intervention group was lower than those in the control group(all P<0.01),the core muscle strength and stability significantly increased than those at admission, and the intervention group was higher than those in the control group(all P<0.01).Conclusion Compared with routine physical training, endurance training of core muscle groups can significantly enhance the stability of the core muscle groups and effectively improve the problems of lumbar muscle weakness and lumbar muscle strain in pilots, and it is of great significance to improve the anti-load ability of pilots, reduce the occurrence of military training injuries and improve the combat effectiveness of the army.
