Application Research of Single Category Implicit Association Test in Fatigue Assessment of Helicopter Pilot Cadets
Objective To explore the application value of single category implicit association test(SC-IAT)in the fatigue assessment of helicopter pilot cadets. Methods A group of 112 male helicopter pilot cadets were randomly select-ed for multi-dimensional fatigue scale(MFI-20)and implicit fatigue SC-IAT testing.Explore the correlation between im-plicit fatigue and each dimension of MFI-20;the differences in MFI-20 scores across all dimensions between the implicit fatigue positive group and the implicit fatigue negative group were compared;implicit fatigue positive(D value>0)as the reference value, the receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve was used to analyze and calculate the demarcation val-ues of MFI-20 in each dimension to predict the implicit fatigue of helicopter pilot cadets. Results Implicit fatigue was moderately positively correlated with general fatigue and physical fatigue(r=0.76,0.47,all P<0.001),highly positive-ly correlated with mental fatigue, lack of motivation and decreased vitality(r=0.84,0.80,0.84,all P<0.001).The general fatigue dimension, mental fatigue dimension, lack of motivation and vitality decline scores were significantly dif-ferent between implicit fatigue positive group and implicit fatigue negative group(all P<0.001),there was no statistical-ly significant difference in somatic fatigue dimension scores(P=0.080).The demarcation values of general fatigue,men-tal datigue, lack of motivation and vitality decline to predict the implicit fatigue of helicopter pilot cadets were 8,9,9 and 9 points, respectively. Conclusion The implicit fatigue has obvious distinguishing effect in all dimensions(except physical fa-tigue),which confirms that SC-IAT has high validity and can be used effectively for evaluating the psychological fatigue state of helicopter pilots cadets. The demarcation values of each dimension of MFI-20 to predict the implicit fatigue of helicopter pilot cadets were explored in this study.
