Analysis of the Teaching Effectiveness of the"1+2"Training Mode in the Nasal Disease Research Cell Culture Laboratory
Objective To investigate the impact of"1+2"teaching and training mode in the cell culture laboratory of rhinopathy research in practice.Methods The postgraduate students who entered the nasal disease cell culture labora-tory during the four years from 2020 to 2023 were selected as the research objects,33 postgraduate students who entered the laboratory from 2020 to 2021 were included in the control group,while 33 graduate students who joined between 2022 and 2023 were included in the experimental group.The control group adopted the laboratory teacher training mode;whereas the experimental group utilized a"1+2"teaching training mode,that is,on the basis of online training exchange combined with practical training mode(tutorial mode+laboratory mode).The differences of theoretical knowledge test,evaluation of routine experimental operation behavior,practical operation assessment,and investigation of training effec-tiveness were compared between the two groups.Results The test scores of knowledge examination and practical opera-tion of the experimental group were significantly higher than those of the control group(all P<0.001),and the scores of cell resuscitation,cell passage,cell freezing,correct use of instruments and equipment,laboratory use process,disinfec-tion and sterilization of experimental equipment,and aseptic operation in the experimental group were all higher than those in the control group(all P<0.05).The error behavior of routine operation in 8 experiments of the experimental group was significantly reduced compared with that of the control group(all P<0.05).The scores of graduate students in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group in terms of the effect of laboratory safety training,the effect of laboratory assessment system,the ability to solve practical problems after training,the effect of training on improving comprehensive ability and the over-all satisfaction(all P<0.05).Conclusion The"1+2"teaching and training mode can improve the theoretical knowledge,proficiency in cell culture technology,and o-verall practical abilities of the graduate students in the cell culture laboratory of rhinopathy research,consequently,and can promote the teaching quality of scientific research con-ducted in nasal cell culture laboratories.
