Study on the Application Effect of ADOPT Model in Bone Transfer Surgery for Diabetic Foot Treatment
Objective To explore the application effect of adopting the ADOPT model in the care of transverse osteotomy for diabetic foot treatment. Methods A total of 38 patients who accepted transverse tibial transposition sur-gery to treat diabetic foot in author's hospital from March 2021 to May 2023 were selected as the study objects.Patients were randomly divided into experimental group and control group by convenient sampling method, with 19 patients in each group.Patients in the control group accepted routine nursing care for the treatment of diabetic foot with lateral tibial dis-placement surgery, while patients in the experimental group accepted ADOPT model based on the nursing of the control group. The self-care ability and discharge readiness of both groups were compared. Results The scores of self-care abili-ty and discharge readiness in experimental group were significantly higher than those of the control group(all P<0.05);after intervention, the scores of self-care concept,self-care responsibility,self-care skill and health knowledge in the ex-perimental group were significantly higher than before intervention, and higher than those in the control group(all P<0.001).Conclusion Nursing intervention using the ADOPT model can improve self-care ability and discharge readiness in patients with diabetic foot(Wagner grade 3-4)who undergoing transverse tibial bone transfer surgery.
