The Innovation and Significance of the Boat-traveling Poems between Bianliang and Hangzhou in Yuan Dynasty
To reveal the close connection between literature,politics,and economy in the Yuan Dynasty,and highlight the inclusive nature of Yuan Dynasty Poetry against the background of multicultural integration,starting from the study of boat-traveling poems between the important towns of Bianliang Road and Hangzhou Road in the Yuan Dynasty,the creation quantity,content,and style of boat-traveling poems between Bianliang and Hangzhou with previous generations are compared and analyzed,focusing on the phenomenon of"ships sailing at night",the innovation and significance of boat-traveling poetry between Bianliang and Hangzhou are further explored.The li-terati of the Yuan Dynasty promoted the exchange and integration of poetic styles between the north and the south during their journey to the south and north,and the description of canal water flow,boat racing,and other magnifi-cent scenes presents a poetic style that is different from the previous dynasty,characterized by openness,gran-deur,and agility.The poetical writing about the commercial trade,living conditions of citizens,and daily enter-tainment activities along the canal coastshow the social reality of high population mobility.The boat-traveling po-ems between Bianliang and Hangzhou in the Yuan Dynasty is vigorous,bright,and inclusive,consistent with the secularization and lifestyle characteristics of literature in the Yuan Dynasty,furthermore,it reflects the era charac-teristics of the literary world of"advocating for literature from the bottom".
