Metaverse Security Risks and Legal Governance from the Perspective of New Media Technology
Facing the metaverse era,the media environment has undergone fundamental changes compared with Neil Postman's media era, which is embodied as a"mixed world"with virtual and real isomorphism. At present, the meta-universe is impacting the existing social system with its own hidden bias, reproducing the basic issues of technological development about risk, anomia, and governance. The research results show that different from the inherent defects of technology governance, human governance and moral governance, the impersonal objective jus-tice,formal setting and self-reference of law are of great benefit to managing the security risks of the metaverse. In order to eliminate social risks such as national security, cultural security, economic security and moral security brought by the development of the metaverse, and to avoid the metaverse from human control,it is necessary to re-ly on the law to govern the metaverse. Therefore,it is believed that the rule of law in the metaverse should not jump out of the ontological level to pursue metaphysical transcendentalism, but should adhere to the fundamental concept of"overall national security concept",the value guidance of"socialist core values",the good governance idea of"platform capital monopoly supervision",and the bottom line logic of"people-oriented"under the frame-work of the existing legal system,in order to achieve the metaverse security risk training and correction and real-ize the sustainable and healthy development on the legal track.
