Resource Utilization Way of Iron Tailings and Its Technical Process
With the rapid development of the national economy,the stockpile of iron tailings generated from mineral exploration is increasing,posing challenges such as significant land occupation and environ-mental pollution.To address this issue,the resource utilization of iron tailings has emerged as a hot re-search topic.Various ways of iron tailings resource utilization are discussed,covering the production of bricks,ceramic granules,foamed ceramics,microcrystalline glass,cement and concrete,wall insulation ma-terials and fertilizers,etc.,and its technical process is introduced.The prospect of iron tailings resource u-tilization is prospected,the possible challenges in this field are pointed out,which provides a useful refer-ence for further promoting resource utilization.
