Using urtica latifolia as raw material and ethanol as extractant, the extraction conditions and in vitro activity of total flavonoids from urtica latifolia are studied by ultrasonic extraction. The effects of ul-trasonic time, ethanol concentration,solid-liquid ratio and ultrasonic times on the extraction of total fla-vonoids from urtica latifolia are investigated by single factor experiment, and the extraction process is op-timized by orthogonal experiment. The results show that the optimum extraction process of total flavonoids in Urtica latifolia is 70%ethanol at a solid-liquid ratio of 1∶50,ultrasonic 20 min, ultrasonic 2 times, the average extraction rate is 12.21%.The total flavonoids of 0.6 g/L has strong scavenging activity on DPPH·free radical and ABTS+free radical, and 1.5 g/L total flavonoids also has certain inhibitory effect on α-amylase and α-glucosidase,which has certain development value.
