Regeneration and Performance Analysis of Waste Lithium Iron Phosphate
The recovery of lithium iron phosphate cathode material is studied by an acid leaching-precip-itation-solid phase regeneration method. The optimum acid leaching conditions are 0.3 mol/L concen-trated sulfuric acid and 9%hydrogen peroxide. The leaching rate of Li can reach 96.7%.The electro-chemical performance of the regenerated lithium iron phosphate material is tested. The discharge specific capacity is 127 mAh/g at 0.1 C.After 100 cycles at 1 C,the charge-discharge platform is basically con-sistent,the cycle reversibility and stability are good, and the electrochemical performance is good.Experi-ments show that an appropriate concentration of hydrogen peroxide can inhibit the leaching of Fe and con-vert it into FePO4 precipitation, which provides a new idea for the treatment of waste lithium iron phos-phate cathode materials.
