Study on Characteristics and Influencing Factors of Soil Fauna Communities in Urban Areas
Rapid development of urban areas has decreased the regional ecosystem services, which resulted in a lot of environment problems such as habitat fragmentation, reduction of biodiversity, extreme climate change, increasingly serious soil pollution and etc.As an important part of ecosystem, soil fauna is affected deeply by urbanization. In order to evaluate urban soil quality and ecosystem services and to provide scientific guidance for restoration and optimization of urban ecosystem services, recent progresses in research of soil fauna community were summarized focusing on its spatial-temporal distribution and influence factors.Based on this summary, the limits at this stage and prospects of the study of soil fauna in urban ecosystems were put forward from the four following aspects: mechanism research, multiple factor comprehensive study,long-term monitoring and application.1tab.,45refs.
