Study on the Response of Photosynthetic Characteristics of Tinospora sagittata to Shading
[Objective]It is to study the response of photosynthetic characteristics of Tinospora sagit-tata(Oliv.)Gagnep.to shading, and to find the suitable light intensity for the growth of Tinospora sagit-tata(Oliv.)Gagnep.in order to provide a theoretical basis for its efficient cultivation.[Method]The photosynthetic characteristics of Tinospora sagittata(Oliv.)Gagnep.were studied and tested under the forest by 4 different light transmission treatments of 70%-90%,50%-70%,30%-50%and 10%-50%.[Result]The results showed that the growth of Tinospora sagittata(Oliv.)Gagnep.was the best under 50%-70%light transmittance, and there was no"photosynthetic lunch break"phenomenon, while it exhibited a relatively high water use efficiency of 9.69 μmol/(m2·s),an apparent quantum ef-ficiency of 0.082,and a low transpiration rate with an average daily value of 0.71 μmol/(m2·s).[Conclusion]Moderate shading could enhance the photosynthesis of Tinospora sagittata(Oliv.)Gagnep.and its chlorophyll content also increased with the deepening of shading, indicating that it had strong a-daptability to light.
