[目的]旨在对怀化市古树名木的树种数量、分布区域、树龄分级、健康状况等特征进行系统分析,为进一步做好古树名木的保护管理工作提供参考.[方法]以县市区为单位,通过逐乡逐村逐株实地调查,建立怀化市古树名木数据库和古树群数据库,并对古树名木的空间布局等特征进行统计分析.[结果]调查到怀化市 39 725 株古树名木中,数量最多的科是金缕梅科(Hamamelidaceae R.Br.),最多的树种是枫香(Liquidambar formosana);辰溪、沅陵、新晃3 县古树数量排全市前列;一级、二级、三级古树数量呈金字塔分布,正常株占绝大部分,衰弱和濒危古树占一定比重.[结论]古树是怀化市经过千年风霜保留下来的优质树种资源,应从历史、文化、景观等方面深度挖掘其价值,采取有效措施进行就地保护,以确保这些古树名木在现代化新怀化建设中得到更好的保护和发展,继续焕发生机与活力.
Analysis of the Characteristics of Ancient and Famous Tree Resources in Huaihua City
[Objective]The purpose is to systematically analyze the characteristics of the number,distribution area,age classification,and health status of ancient and famous trees in Huaihua City,in or-der to provide reference for further protection and management of ancient and famous trees.[Method]On a county or city level basis,field investigations were conducted on a township by village basis to establish a database of ancient and famous trees and a database of ancient tree clusters in Huaihua City.Statistical analysis was conducted on the spatial layout and other characteristics of ancient and famous trees.[Result]Among the 39 725 ancient and famous trees surveyed in Huaihua City,the family with the most quantity was the Hamamelidaceae,and the tree species with the most quantity was Liquidambar formosa-na;The number of ancient trees in Chenxi,Yuanling,and Xinhuang counties ranked among the top in the city;The number of primary,secondary,and tertiary ancient trees showed a pyramid distribution,with normal trees accounting for the vast majority and weakened and endangered ancient trees accounting for a certain proportion.[Conclusion]Ancient trees in Huaihua City are valuable tree species resources preserved through millennia of weathering.Their value should be deeply explored from historical,cultur-al,and landscape perspectives.Effective measures should be taken for in-situ protection to ensure that these ancient and famous trees can receive better protection and development during the modernization construction of Huaihua City,continuing to radiate vitality and dynamism.
