A Study on the Intervention of Mindfulness Training on the Sleep Quality of College Students
A study was conducted using 12,950 college students from a specific university as participants, with the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI)as the measurement tool.A questionnaire survey was employed to understand the sleep status of modern college students.Furthermore,24 students identified with poor sleep quality underwent an 8-week mindfulness group training, occurring once a week.Their sleep quality was assessed using the PSQI before and after the intervention to analyze any changes. The findings revealed that sleep problems are prevalent among college students, with variations in sleep quality across different academic years.Additionally, the mindfulness group training appeared to have a positive impact on improving sleep quality.
