On the Major Challenges Facing the Construction of China's Social Credit System and Suggestions for Countermeasures
Since the 18th National Congress of the CPC,Chinese government has attached great importance to the construction of social credit system,and has made important progress in some basic areas and key links,and the overall social credit situation has been significantly improved.However,the construction of social credit system is a long-term and extremely complex systematic project,and is still faced with problems such as lagging behind in theoretical research and rule of law construction,insufficiently clear target positioning and functional boundaries of social credit system construction,inadequate commercial credit reporting system,serious defaults on payments owned to enterprises,and other unbalanced and insufficient development.It is suggested that on the basis of systematically summarizing the lessons learned in the previous period,we should strengthen theoretical research,clarify misunderstandings between cognition and practice,further specify the target positioning and functional boundaries of the construction of social credit system,accelerate credit legislation,improve the commercial credit reporting system,solve the problems of outstanding payments owned to enterprises,vigorously develop credit economy,and put effort into the publicity and guidance for the public.
