Research on the Current Situation of Intellectual Property Information Services in Libraries of Traditional Chinese Medicine Universities
[Purposes]This paper aims to investigate the current status of intellectual property information services in 24 libraries of traditional Chinese medicine universities and provide reference for the re-search on intellectual property information services in those libraries.[Methods]Through literature re-search,telephone interview,website search and other methods,we investigated the establishment of school level intellectual property information service center,intellectual property column setting,intel-lectual property information service content,patent search and analysis database resource ordering,and WeChat official account intellectual property tweets in Chinese medicine university libraries.[Findings]Some TCM colleges and universities have not yet carried out intellectual property information services,professional patent retrieval and analysis tools are insufficient,their intellectual property information ser-vices are not deep enough,and their WeChat official account intellectual property tweets are lack of sys-tematicness and innovation.[Conclusions]Libraries should pay more attention to intellectual property information service business,improve the allocation of intellectual property database resources,carry out multi-level intellectual property information services and design the content of WeChat official account reasonably.
