Observation Data of Gas Radon and Simulated Water Radon in Baoji Area
[Purposes]This paper aims to study the correlation,similarities and differences between water radon and gas radon measurements.[Methods]Taking the continuous observation data of water and gas radon from Baoji Shangwang Fluid Station and Longxian Fluid Station from 2015 to 2020 as the research object,this study analyzes the comparison between normal data and abnormal curves of different observation items in the same station and the same observation items stations in different stations.[Findings]The results show that here is no obvious relationship between dissolved water radon and gas radon.Before moderate to strong earthquakes,there were no obvious precursor anomalies in the seismic monitoring data of the station.Water radon is greatly af-fected by human activities,while gas radon is greatly affected by pipeline blockage in gas gathering and degas-sing devices.The annual variation trend of dissolved water radon in the Shangwang and Longxian fluid stations is typical of high in summer and low in winter.The annual deformation of gas radon recorded by the Shangwang BG2015R gas radon instrument shows a low summer and high winter shape,while the annual deformation of gas radon recorded by the Longxian SD-3A gas radon instrument is not very obvious.[Conclusions]At present,it is not possible to establish a relationship between dissolved water radon and gas radon using an effective physical quantity,and there is no obvious relationship between dissolved water radon and gas radon.
