Research on Eccentric Load Coefficient of Single Box and Multi Cell Box Girder Bridge Based on Grillage Method
[Purposes]In order to explore the eccentric load effect of Box girder bridge with single box and multi room wide deck and clarify the influence law of relevant influencing factors on the eccentric load coefficient,numerical simulation and comparative study were carried out with the Gangzihe Bridge in Changsha,Hunan Province as an example.[Methods]Based on the commercial finite element soft-ware Midas Civil,the finite element grillage model of the corresponding bridge is constructed,and the ec-centric load effect of single box multi cell Box girder bridge is studied.[Findings]Research shows the maximum value of the normal stress eccentric load coefficient is 1.25,which appears in the mid span sec-tion.The Shear stress eccentric load coefficient is generally about 1.5.The empirical coefficient method has seriously underestimated the eccentric load coefficient of similar wide deck single box and multi cell Box girder bridge.The eccentricity of live load has a significant impact on the eccentricity coefficient,and the larger the eccentricity,the greater the eccentricity coefficient.The two are approximately linearly correlated.[Conclusions]The beam grid method can accurately simulate the spatial stress situation of a single box and multi cell box girder structure under eccentric load conditions.The eccentric load effect of modern urban medium wide deck single box and multi cell Box girder bridge is obvious,and the empirical coeffi-cient is not applicable to similar bridges.
