Experimental Study on Resistance Insulation and Energy Absorption for High Voltage Switch
[Purposes]More and more Ultra-high switches in theelectric fence adopt parallel resistors on both sides of the fracture surface to restrain the over-voltage during operation.In order to evaluate the electrical performance of the resistance for ultra-high voltage switch in the type test,it is necessary to study the insulation tolerance and energy absorption test of the resistance.[Methods]According to the non-oscillatory discharge test principle of the second-order circuit,the capacitance charge and resis-tance discharge test circuits are designed,and the test of different resistance resistances is carried out by adjusting the charging voltage,capacitance and reactance of the circuit.[Findings]According to the re-quirement of the circuit breaker pure resistance closing resistance test,the impulse generating circuit form for the impulse withstand voltage test of the closing resistor and the impulse current generating cir-cuit for the energy absorption test are proposed.[Conclusions]The test circuit designed in this paper can validate the ability of resistance lightning impulse,working impulse and capacity absorption test,and effectively test the performance of high voltage switch resistor.
