Research on the Control Technology of Roadway Roof Detachment Under the Condition of Thick Loose Layer and Thin Bedrock
[Purposes]This study investigates the control technology of roadway roof separation during the mining of a thick loose bed and thin bedrock coal seam. The working face of Liuzhuang Coal Mine,oper-ated by China Coal Xinji Energy Co.,Ltd.,serves as the engineering background for this research.[Methods]The separation of the roof of tunnel was monitored using installed separators. The study fo-cused on the positions of the separators at 7#(296 m)and 8#(332 m)on the roof.Subsidence was ob-served in both deep and shallow layers at the 7#position,while only deep subsidence occurred at the 8#position,indicating overall sinking in deep layers.[Findings]The initial treatment measure involved full section grouting and setting point columns, but it did not effectively control roof subsidence. The second treatment measure involved long anchor cable grouting reinforcement, which significantly slowed down the separation layer after treatment. This approach effectively controlled the separation layer of the roof, demonstrating a clear treatment effect.[Conclusions]The study concludes that long anchor cable grout-ing reinforcement is an effective method for controlling roof separation in tunnels under thick loose layer and thin bedrock conditions. The research findings provide theoretical guidance and reference for the control of roof separation in similar mining scenarios.
