Research on TBM Selection Decision Model Based on Fuzzy Evaluation Method
[Purposes]When carrying out TBM construction,it is very important to select the appropriate TBM type according to the ground conditions and tunnel design requirements.The improper selection of TBM type will lead to problems such as low construction efficiency,difficulty in dealing with construc-tion risks and increase in construction costs.Therefore,it is necessary to construct a TBM selection deci-sion model to provide selection guidance in the project planning stage.[Methods]In this paper,a deci-sion model based on the adaptive evaluation of TBM selection is established by combining AHP method and TOPSIS method.The reliability of the scoring is improved by using entropy weight method to opti-mize the expert scoring in AHP method.Three types of TBM selection adaptability indexes,such as tun-nel design parameters,geological conditions and adverse geology,were selected in the research process,such as tunnel flat curve radius,rock strength,rock integrity,rock burst,and sudden water surge.On the basis of literature research and experts' experience,the decision-making model of TBM selection adapt-ability is constructed,and the effectiveness of the model is verified with a water conservancy project in Xinjiang as a case study.[Findings]The results show that the selection decision made by the model is consistent with the actual situation.[Conclusions]The results can provide useful suggestions for TBM se-lection in the project planning stage.
