Overview of Patent Application for Residual Life Assessment Method for Pressure Containing Components of Power Plant Boilers
[Purposes]This paper aims to better grasp the current development status of residual life assessment methods for pressure components of power plant boilers.[Methods]By collecting,indexing,and sorting out pat-ent literature in the field of residual life assessment methods for pressure bearing components of power plant boilers at home and abroad,this paper analyzes the status of domestic and foreign patent applications,impor-tant applicants,regional distribution,and legal status in this field.[Findings]The related technology of re-sidual life assessment method of power station boiler pressure parts has been relatively mature in Japan,and the number of patent applications tends to be stable.China 's research in this field started late,but due to its efforts in R&D activity in recent years,China has become a major patent application country for related tech-nologies.[Conclusions]The industrial application of the residual life assessment method of the pressure parts of the power plant boiler needs to be further strengthened.How to put these technologies into the actual industrial production to obtain industrialization benefits is a problem that needs to be solved in the future.
