Study on Reservoir Forming Conditions and Main Controlling Factors of Oil and Gas Reservoirs in Yongjin Area of Junggar Basin
[Purposes]Through the analysis of the accumulation conditions and main controlling factors of oil and gas reservoirs in Yongjin area, the purpose is to provide theoretical basis for further exploration in this area.[Methods]In this paper, the Jurassic Qigu Formation is taken as the target layer.By analyzing the accumulation conditions, the main controlling factors are clarified, and the control of sedimentary mi-crofacies and faults on oil and gas accumulation is studied.[Findings]The results show that the source rocks in the study area are mainly from the Permian.Under the background of shallow water delta deposi-tion,a large set of continuous reservoirs with large thickness and good physical properties are developed. On this basis,a relatively stable cap rock is developed and the preservation conditions are good. The study area has formed multiple sets of source-connecting faults through multi-stage tectonic movements, and formed sealing faults in the Himalayan period, and the structural trap conditions are good. The fault structure and inclined reservoir sand bodies provide good vertical and lateral migration channels for oil and gas.[Conclusions]Sedimentary evolution and strike-slip faults control the accumulation model of Qigu Formation, and the focus should be on finding structural-lithologic reservoirs in Yongjin area. The research results have pointed out the favorable direction for further exploration in this area.
