Quantitative Research on the Power Generation Benefits of Replacing Small Capacity Electricity with Large Capacity Wind Turbines
[Purposes]This paper aims to quantify the power generation benefits generated by increasing the tower height according to the actual wind resources of the existing wind power units.[Methods]Ac-cording to the actual wind speed and frequency distribution of the fan position statistics, the power gen-eration benefits generated by the proposed models with different single-machine capacity and blade length were calculated, and then the model combination of tower,single-machine capacity and blade length with the optimal power generation benefits was determined through comparative analysis.[Find-ings]The annual power generation generated by the selected model was more than 2 times higher than that of the original unit, and the number of available hours was also considerable.[Conclusions]This pa-per provides theoretical support for the quality and efficiency improvement measures of"replacing small capacity electricity with large capacity wind turbines"for the old wind power units, and quantitatively evaluates the expected benefits, and on this basis, this paper provides a more intuitive feasibility scheme for analyzing the input cost and quantifying the benefits.
