Remote Sensing Interpretation of Geological Disaster in the Western Mountainous Areas of Henan Based on GF-7 Data
[Purposes]The aim of this paper is to identify the spatial distribution patterns of geological disas-ters such as collapse and landslide in some areas of the western Henan mountainous areas, and to provide a scientific basis for disaster monitoring and management.[Methods]The primary data source is GF-7,and the remote sensing interpretation process includes the steps of the construction of remote sensing interpreta-tion signs, preliminary indoor interpretation, field investigation verification, comprehensive indoor as well as outdoor interpretation, and the compliation and interpretation of results maps.In addition, this paper com-pares multi-type and multi-temporal remote sensing images and combines the geological data from the study area to further improve the interpretability of geological disasters.[Findings]The results show that 15 land-slides and 6 collapses were actually correctly identified in this survey, with a correct interpretation rate of 91.3%.The remote sensing interpretation has achieved rather high accuracy and efficiency, and obtained bet-ter results.[Conclusions]The idea and method proposed in this paper for geological disasters remote sensing interpretation using GF-7 satellite data have demonstrated significant advantages in this remote sensing inter-pretation of geological disasters carried out in the region, with strong practicality and feasibility, which can pro-vide powerful reference and guidance for other geological disasters remote sensing interpretation.
