Identification of Ecological Source and Construction of Ecological Corri-dor in the Middle Reaches of the Yellow River Basin
[Purposes]Taking the middle section of the Yellow River Basin as the study area to identify ecological sources and construct ecological corridors can provide guidance for ecological security protec-tion and ecological security planning in the middle reaches of the Yellow River basin,which can promote the common prosperity and coordinated development of ecology and economy in this area.[Methods]In this paper,the ecological sources were identified by the morphological spatial pattern analysis(MSPA)and landscape connectivity analysis.The potential ecological corridors were extracted by the minimum cumulative resistance model(MCR),and the important ecological corridors were identified by the gravity model.[Findings]Based on MSPA and landscape connectivity method,19 ecological sources elsewhere were recognized.Using MCR and gravity model,171 potential ecological corridors and 20 important eco-logical corridors were identified.[Conclusions]Through identifying the landscape connectivity and the ways and regions conducive to species migration,this study defines the direction of ecological environ-ment protection and ecological restoration,which can provide guidance for ecological security protection and ecological security planning in the middle reaches of the Yellow River basin,fundamentally improve the structure and function of the regional ecosystem,and thus achieve the purpose of building ecological corridors and improving the regional ecological security pattern.
