Research on the Type-based Training of Intellectual Property Undergradu-ate Professionals in China under the Background of New Liberal Arts
[Purposes]This paper aims to analyze the structural contradictions in the quantity and quality of the current supply of intellectual property talents in China,and put forward a new model for the train-ing of undergraduate intellectual property professionals in colleges and universities.[Methods]Taking the talent training plan of colleges and universities with undergraduate majoring in intellectual property in China as the research object and comparing the goals and curriculum arrangements of talent training between colleges and universities,this paper summarizes the legalization of goals in the process of talent training,overemphasis on the improvement of students'comprehensive literacy and insufficient practical application.[Findings]Although the number of undergraduate professional talents in intellectual prop-erty in China has a certain scale,due to objective factors such as the unclear nature of intellectual prop-erty disciplines and the difficulty of the goal of compound talent training,the quality of talent training is difficult to meet practical needs.[Conclusions]The perspective of typed talent training meets the back-ground requirements of the new liberal arts,conforms to the law of students'learning and development,can make full use of the school's advantageous disciplines and resources,and cultivate applied talents that meet the needs of practice.In this regard,the goal of talent training in colleges and universities should be guided by practical needs,and the positioning and characteristic advantages of the school should be targeted to cultivate a specific type of compound talents.
