Research on the Present Situation and Development of Popular Science Work in Henan Province
[Purposes]This paper analyzes the present situation of popular science work in Henan Prov-ince,and puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions for the high-quality development of popu-lar science in Henan Province.[Methods]Focusing on Henan province,taking the policy documents,car-rier platform,talent team and activities of popular science in Henan Province as the research object,this paper makes an analysis and research.[Findings]Under the background that science popularization work is closely centered on building a strong country of science and technology and serving the overall situation of scientific and technological innovation,the popular science work in Henan Province presents a new situation and has made many achievements,but there are still some problems,such as single sub-ject of popular science investment,low per capita special funds for popular science,insufficient innova-tion in popular science activities and slow development of popular science industry.[Conclusions]Henan Province should constantly strengthen departmental cooperation,broaden funding channels,strengthen the construction of talent team,innovate the forms of popular science activities,and promote the development of popular science industry to promote the effective improvement of popular science ability,and accelerate the construction of a national innovation highland in Henan Province.
