Finite Element Analysis of T-Beam Anchor End Cracks
[Purposes]Aiming at the phenomenon of cracking at the web of a 25 m reinforced concrete T-beam in a large bridge after being tensioned by post-tensioning method, the local stress analysis of the end of the T-beam under anchor was carried out and the stress distribution of concrete in the anchoring area was studied.[Methods]The end of the beam was simulated by finite element software and the influ-ence of web thickness on the principal stress was compared and analyzed.[Findings]The test results show that the principal stress at the inner web of T-beam decreases gradually with the increase of the thickness of the web,and the section design of the T-beam is unreasonable, and the design of the T-beam with equal thickness web can effectively prevent the occurrence of cracks.[Conclusions]The above conclusions can provide reference for the design of prestressed concrete continuous beam bridges.
