[目的]对不同晶体特征的LiNi0.8Co0.1Mn0.1O2(NCM811)进行分析,深入了解高镍三元锂电池的特点.[方法]将不同前驱体与氢氧化锂混合,并通过高温烧结合成单多晶NCM811(SC-811和PC-811),进行电化学测试.[结果]结果表明,在0.5 C倍率下,PC-811的首次放电比容量可达204.5 mAh/g优于SC-811的189.4 mAh/g;PC-811在低倍率时比容量较高,而SC-811在高倍率时比容量较高;此外,低温放电时,SC-811的容量保持率比PC-811高,说明SC-811具有更好的低温耐受性.[结论]SC-811具有稳定的晶体结构、良好的循环性能和低温性能,而PC-811具有较高的放电比容量和能量密度.
Comparative Analysis the Performance of Single and Poly-Crystal LiNi0.8Co0.1Mn0.1O2
[Purposes]In order to insight into the characteristic of Ni-rich ternary Li-ion batteries,two different crystalline characteristics of LiNi0.8Co0.1Mn0.1O2(NCM811)were researched and analyzed in this article.[Methods]Single and poly-crystalline cathode materials of NCM811(SC-811 and PC-811)were prepared,by mixing different precursors with LiOH·H2O calcinated at high temperature.[Findings]The results showed that the initial discharge specific capacity of PC-811 is up to 204.5 mAh/g at 0.5 C,which is higher than that of SC-811 with a value of 189.4 mAh/g.The specific capacity of PC-811 is higher than that of SC-811 at low rate,while the specific capacity of SC-811 is higher than that of PC-811 at high rate.Moreover,the capacity retention of SC-811 is higher than that of PC-811 at low tem-perature,indicating that SC-811 has a better low-temperature tolerance.[Conclusions]It was con-cluded that SC-811 has the advantage of stable crystal structure,excellent cycle performance and low-temperature performance.In the meanwhile,PC-811 has a higher specific capacity and energy density.
