Automatic Gear Calculation and Strength Calibration of RV Reducer
[Purposes]RV reducer is one of the core components of industrial robots,but its design pro-cess is cumbersome due to its complex structure.Therefore,it is specially parameterized for some of the design links of RV reducer to achieve the purpose of shortening the design cycle of RV reducer.[Meth-ods]In this paper,on the basis of the structural analysis of the RV reducer,taking the RV-110E reducer produced by a certain factory as an example,according to the five conditions required for the gearing cal-culation and the relevant formulae and principles of the gear strength calibration,we complete the pro-gram design of the gearing calculation of the RV reducer as well as the gear strength calibration program of the RV reducer by using the programming language of VB.NET in the Visual Studio software.NET pro-gramming language to complete the program design of RV gearbox gearing calculation and strength checking program of RV gearbox.[Findings]Through the gearing calculation,several sets of reliable re-sults of gearing number can be obtained.After that,in order to verify the reliability of the strength of the gears obtained from the gearing calculation,a program was designed to check the strength of the gears.[Conclusions]The results prove the rationality and necessity of the program design,which can greatly improve the design speed of RV gearboxes.
