The Innovative Practice of New R&D Institutions Established by Univer-sities and Local Governments under the Perspective of"Integration of the Four Chains":A Case Study on the Innovation Center of Yangtze River Delta Zhejiang University
[Purposes]The purpose of this study is to explore the unique position,profound connotations,and innovative experiences of new R&D institutions under the backdrop of the"Integration of the Four Chains",aiming to provide a theoretical basis and practical references for expediting the formation of new quality productive forces and promoting high-quality development.[Methods]On the basis of sum-marizing the existing works,this paper takes the Innovation Center of Yangtze River Delta Zhejiang Uni-versity as an example to discuss the innovative measures taken by those new R&D institutions around the deeper integration of the innovation chain,the industrial chain,the capital chain,and the talent chain,and then summarizes the relevant experience.[Findings]As a new R&D institution established by Zheji-ang University and Jiashan County,the Innovation Center of Yangtze River Delta places emphasis on constructing four major platforms for scientific research and development,industrial transformation,tal-ent cultivation,and decision-making consultation.By doing these,it has embarked on an innovative path for the growth of new R&D institutions established by universities and local governments under the per-spective of"Integration of the Four Chains".[Conclusions]The successful practice of Innovation Center of Yangtze River Delta shows that in the context of"Integration of the Four Chains",new R&D institu-tions established by universities and local governments should keep pace with the times.These efforts will accelerate the aggregation and interaction of factors such as technology,knowledge,talent,and fund-ing,contributing to the rapid formation of new quality productive forces and promoting high-quality de-velopment.
