[Purposes]This paper aims to understand the research status and future development trend of landslide disaster prevention,and provide reference for the prevention of the landslide damage and the sustainable development of ecological environment.[Methods]Through the method of literature review,the existing research results were sorted out and the contents related to the research objectives were stud-ied.[Findings]This paper systematically summarizes the cause mechanism of slope disaster.The key techniques of landslide disaster monitoring and the main models of landslide disaster prediction are ana-lyzed,the importance of landslide disaster monitoring and early warning is discussed,the application of landslide disaster prevention and control engineering is reviewed,and the future development trend of landslide disaster prevention and control research is forecasted.[Conclusions]The research of slope di-saster prevention and control has important scientific value and practical significance,and provides sci-entific basis for geological disaster prevention and ecological environment sustainable development.
