The Influence of Preload Coefficient on Static and Dynamic Characteristics of Offset Sliding Bearing
[Purposes]Sliding bearing is one of the most important components of bearing-rotor system.With the development of high-speed gear box towards high speed and heavy load,traditional circular sliding bearing can't meet the requirements.Because of its high stability and good vibration resistance,offset sliding bearing is widely used in high speed and heavy load conditions.Preload coefficient is one of the important factors affecting the performance of offset sliding bearing,so it is very important to study the preload coefficient.[Methods]By using DyRoBeS software,the effects of different preload coeffi-cients on the static and dynamic characteristics of the offset sliding bearing,such as flow rate,power con-sumption,temperature,oil film pressure,bearing stiffness and damping,are analyzed.[Findings]Ac-cording to the simulation results,proper increase of preload coefficient can reduce bearing temperature and improve lubrication conditions;when the preload coefficient is 0.5,Kyy is the maximum;when the preload coefficient is 0.35,Cyy reaches the maximum.With comprehensive consideration,when the pre-load coefficient is 0.4,the offset sliding bearing has better static and dynamic characteristics.[Conclu-sions]The conclusions of this article provide a theoretical basis for the design high-speed gear box.
