Thoughts and Suggestions on the Construction of Smart Library from the Perspective of Digital Humanities
[Purposes]This paper aims to build a smart library oriented towards digital humanities and es-tablish a new form of library that provides full-time services for readers.[Methods]Using the methods of investigation and literature,this paper introduces the concepts and connotations of digital humanities and smart library,analyses the impact of digital humanities on smart library,the framework for building smart libraries oriented towards digital humanities,as well as the problems and challenges faced,and provides suggestions for the construction of smart libraries oriented towards digital humanities.[Findings]The technology of digital humanities can enhance the management and services of smart libraries.Libraries can use technologies such as big data analysis,natural language processing,text mining,and knowledge graph construction to build smart service platform and data decision support systems in the perspective of digital humanities.[Conclusions]The construction of a smart library should pay attention to data pri-vacy and security protection,establish technical standards and interoperability mechanisms among indus-tries,prioritize reader participation needs,actively engage in crossorer collaboration from the perspective of digital humanities,which it can promote the sustainable development of the library profession.
