Design of Particle Uniformity Application Device for ZL26E Filter Rod Maker
[Purposes]To address the issue of draw resistance and weight fluctuation resulting from the uneven application of particles during the production of particle filter rod by the ZL26E filter rod maker,a device for uniform particle application is designed.[Methods]The device consists of a particle sliding unit and a tow stabilization unit.Through the sliding unit,particles cascade evenly and smoothly onto the tow belt,while the tow stabilization unit mitigates the jitter of the tow belt during operation via negative pressure suction.Simultaneously,the particles are adsorbed onto the tow belt and conveyed to the form-ing process.[Findings]The weight standard deviation data and draw resistance standard deviation data of the particle filter rod produced by the ZL26E filter rod maker were evaluated using a comprehensive test bench.The standard deviation of weight decreased from 0.013 2 g to 0.008 4 g,and the standard de-viation of the draw resistance reduced from 147.071 Pa to 109.682 Pa.[Conclusions]After the imple-mentation of the device,the uniformity of particle application was significantly enhanced,ensuring effec-tive control over the quality of the rods and the suction resistance index.
