Research on Comprehensive Survey and Design of Landslide on a Highway Under Construction in Western Henan
[Purposes]Due to the complex terrain and geology, high embankments and deep excavations, the construction of the expressway in the mountainous area of western Henan Province has caused signifi-cant disturbance to the original topography, and is prone to engineering landslides. It is difficult to accu-rately identify landslide characteristics, which hinders the determination of landslide control solutions.[Methods]This article focuses on the investigation of a large deep-seated soil landslide on an express-way under construction in western Henan Province, using multiple exploration methods such as low-altitude aerial photogrammetry,three-dimensional real scene modeling, surface investigation and moni-toring,underground drilling, geophysical exploration, inclinometer monitoring, and testing. The scope of the landslide, shear zone, thickness of the cover layer, material composition, rear crack, and sliding sur-face(band)characteristics were accurately determined. The sliding surface check and stability monitor-ing are carried out by surface and deep displacement monitoring methods.[Findings]The shear strength parameters of the sliding surface(band)were comprehensively determined and the residual sliding force of the landslide was quantitatively calculated.[Conclusions]The results can provide reference for the design of landslide control scheme.
