Design of Active Prevention System for Intelligent Tunnel Accident
[Purposes]The highway tunnel has characteristics such as differences in brightness between the inner and outer tunnels,a single environment that is prone to fatigue,and poor visual effects,result-ing in a much higher accident rate in tunnel sections compared to other sections.Traditional tunnel acci-dent prevention methods are all post event control,which cannot achieve proactive prevention before ac-cidents occur.To solve this issue,this article proposes an active prevention system for intelligent tunnel accident.[Methods]The system combines the reinforcement control of tunnel entrance contour,active guidance module,escape guidance,vehicle detection module,and communication module based on Zig-Bee and RF433 technology to achieve active guidance of vehicles in highway tunnel sections.The road contour actively emits guidance signs to indicate safe passage of vehicles.After an accident occurs,the escape guidance device can also be activated to guide personnel and vehicles to quickly evacuate to-wards the nearest exit.[Findings]The system has been tested and installed on actual roads and can ef-fectively reduce the probability of traffic accidents in tunnel sections,with the annual number of acci-dents decreasing by 42.9%.[Conclusions]This system has strong practicality and high application value in highway tunnels,especially in the scenario of extra long tunnels.
