Study on the Recovery and Adsorption Ability of Humic Acids and Poly-saccharides From Urban Sludge
[Purposes]The effects of alkali-low heat pretreatment on the release of humic acid and poly-saccharide from municipal sludge were investigated, and the adsorption properties of humic acid and polysaccharide were determined.[Methods]In this study, the residual sludge was pretreated by alkali-low-heat method, the carbon materials such as humic acid and polysaccharide were extracted from the supernatant, and the adsorption properties of carbon materials were investigated by taking methyl orange dye as an example.[Findings]The results showed that the optimal pretreatment conditions of alkaline-low-heat method were pH=12,reaction temperature T=90℃,and reaction time t=60 min.The adsorption process is an exothermic reaction with physical diffusion and chemical adsorption coexisting,spontane-ous and easy to carry out.[Conclusions]This pretreatment method has good carbon material release ef-fect and is easy to operate, and the recovered humic acid and polysaccharide have better adsorption per-formance,which can provide technical support for the realization of sludge resourcing.
