Application of 3D Modeling Technology for Ore Bodies Based on 3DMine in the Exploration of A Certain Graphite Mine
[Purposes]Conventional 2D planar mapping software is limited by its technical characteris-tics,falling to meet the demand for the application of 3D geological modeling.Taking a graphite ore ex-ploration project in Tanzania,Africa as the research object, guided by the professional interpretation of geological engineers, this paper carries out 3D modeling of ore bodies based on 3DMine software, which verifies the application effect of 3D geological modeling technology in the exploration of solid mineral re-sources.[Methods]Firstly,this paper establishes an exploration engineering database based on original geological data. Then, using modeling methods such as section method and entity method,a three-dimensional model of the ore body is constructed, which systemqtically introduces the entire process and key links of geological modeling in a three-dimensional environment.[Findings]The transformation of geological interpretation into precise simulation and expression of complex ore bodies under visual condi-tions was realized.[Conclusions]The application practice has shown that 3DMine software is easy to op-erate,advanced in algorithm, reliable in model, and can intuitively, efficiently, and accurately simulate geological cognition and judgment in three-dimensional geometric graphics digitization. The application of three-dimensional geological modeling technology in geological exploration projects is of great help in fully exploring the utilization value of exploration data and improving the informatization level of explora-tion work.
