Design of Automatic Light Tracing Device for Photovoltaic Power Generation Based on Sunflower Principle
[Purposes]To further improve the efficiency of photovoltaic power generation,an automatic light tracing device based on sunflower principle is developed.[Methods]The designed automatic light tracking device for photovoltaic power generation integrates photovoltaic panel,central control panel,dual-axis light tracking system,GPS positioning system,self-protection system,and automatic energy storage module.The device can capture the position of the sun in real time and keep the maximum direct area of sunlight on the photovoltaic panel,thus improving the light conversion rate.Additionally,the piezoresistor and thermistor installed on the photovoltaic panel can effectively reduce the impact of harsh environment on the equipment,thus prolonging the service life of the equipment.[Findings]In order to test whether the bracket in the photovoltaic panel meets the strength requirements,the finite element analysis of this component is carried out.The calculation results show that the strength of the support is 6.204e+02 MPa,which meets the design requirements.Furthermore,the performance of the prototype is tested.The experimental results show that the performance of the prototype meets the requirements,the average power generation is increased by about 19.56%and the power generation efficiency is signifi-cantly improved.[Conclusions]The designed photovoltaic power generation device has obvious advan-tages in accurate positioning and automatic light capture,and has certain market promotion value.
