Analysis of Geochemistry Characteristics of Land in Fenghuang County,Southwest Hunan Province
[Purposes]This paper aims to investigate the geochemical basic data of land quality in Feng-huang county, conduct land quality assessment, analyze the land quality status, potential risks and prob-lems,and propose reasonable land use suggestions based on the actual situation of the research area,pro-viding scientific basis for formulating effective ecological governance strategies in the area.[Methods]Using 4 km2(2 km x 2 km)as the unit grid(large grid),each large grid is divided into 4 small grids, and one sample is collected from each small grid.A total of 2 048 soil surface samples were collected in Fen-ghuang county, and combined into 512 analysis samples. This paper uses software such as Excel and SPSS to conduct statistical analysis on the data, and creates maps using GeoIPAS4.5 and ArcMap10.7 in conjunction with the DZ/T 0295-2016.[Findings]The overall soil condition in Fenghuang county is at a moderate level.Specifically,74.71%of the evaluation area is classified as medium quality soil, while high-quality soil only accounts for 22.27%.The distribution of medium quality soil is relatively exten-sive,with an area of 1 526.74 km2,while high-quality soil is mainly distributed in Qiangongping town and Liaojiaqiao town, and is also distributed in a dotted pattern within the evaluation area.A small por-tion of poor quality soil is mainly distributed in the area of Chatian town, and inferior soil has not been found yet.[Conclusions]Through the investigation of Fenghuang County,it was found that the overall soil quality in the area belongs to medium to severe, and no adverse soil was found, which meets the prac-tical conditions for local development of tourism industry. It is proposed to increase ecological and envi-ronmental protection efforts and vigorously develop agricultural production based on the current situation of selenium rich areas and soil quality within the region.During this period,it is necessary to continu-ously strengthen environmental control and make appropriate adjustments to the use of land according to local conditions to ensure the safety of agricultural products.
