Analysis of the Settlement Impact of Tunnel Excavation on Surrounding Buildings
[Purposes]To ensure the safe construction of a tunnel in a densely built-up area in Shaanxi Province and safeguard the stability of surrounding building structures,it is necessary to analyze the in-ternal force of tunnel excavation support and the settlement impact on the surrounding buildings.[Meth-ods]This paper adopts a construction scheme combining isolation piles, flower pipe piles, and reinforced early support, and establishes a numerical model to simulate and analyze the tunnel excavation process.During the simulation, geological conditions, building distribution, tunnel structure, and other factors are fully considered to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the simulation results.[Findings]The numeri-cal simulation results show that the construction scheme combining isolation piles, flower pipe piles, and reinforced early support can effectively control the stress concentration phenomenon at the arch foot dur-ing tunnel excavation, thereby ensuring the safety of the tunnel support structure.Meanwhile, this scheme has a minor impact on the tilt and settlement of surrounding buildings, meeting the regulatory re-quirements.[Conclusions]This study proves that the construction scheme combining isolation piles, flower pipe piles, and reinforced early support is feasible in tunnel construction, effectively reducing the impact of tunnel excavation on surrounding buildings. The research results have certain reference value for similar projects and are of great significance in ensuring the safety of tunnel construction and the sta-bility of surrounding buildings.
