[Purposes]Constructing a patent mining service model for private college libraries oriented to-wards patent transformation is beneficial for promoting private college libraries to meet the patent infor-mation needs of core users in the patent transformation process from a more systematic and higher-level perspective,improving the quality of patent information services,and promoting the transfer and transfor-mation of patents.[Methods]By combining existing technologies and the research status of patent infor-mation service models,the construction principles and constituent elements of the patent mining service model for private college libraries oriented towards patent transformation are analyzed.[Findings]A pat-ent mining service model for private college libraries oriented towards patent transformation is con-structed from the resource layer,technology layer,and service application layer,and corresponding de-velopment strategies are proposed.[Conclusions]The construction of the patent mining service model for private college libraries oriented towards patent transformation provides channels for private college teachers and students,research teams,and student entrepreneurship teams to obtain the patent informa-tion resources needed in the patent transformation process,and helps promote the transformation of sci-entific research achievements in private colleges and the realization of industry-university-research co-operation.
